This style comes with a 7" front valance. This shade is constructed like the Roman Style shade, except the vertical cords run from the front to the back so that the material rolls at the bottom as the shade is raised. The reverse side of the material will be visible on this roll, so lining is not reccommended.

A solution for those that want privacy and a view at the same time. This style can be lowered from the top or raised from the bottom in a traditional roman fold with the use of two cords, one on the left and one on the right. Outside mounts come with a 4" front valance. inside mousnts come with double 4" valance to hide hardware.

This standard shade configuration allows light to filter unobstructed through the natural woven materials. Amout of privacy is dependent entirely on density of weave and thickeness of materials.

Translucent lining is attached to the back of the shade for privacy while still allowing sunlight to filter through.

Opaque lining is attached to the back of the shade for complete room-darkeningn privacy. Almost all sunlight is blocked.
